Joining Kris Aquino, Megastar Sharon Cuneta has also expressed her endorsement to Liberal Party senatorial bet, Ruffy Biazon.

Impressed by his legislative accomplishments having authored 44 laws, the ladies also appreciate Ruffy Biazon’s concern for women issues such asbeing a staunch advocate in preventing cervical cancer.

Ruffy  was senior staff in the Senate for 8 years having worked for Senators Serge Osmena and his father, Rodolfo G Biazon. He served as the representative of the lone district of Muntinlupa for  9 years as Congressman. Aside from being the  author/co-author of 44 Republic Acts. Ruffy  filed 90 bills & resolutions in the 14th Congress. Ruffy has also  been vice chair & chair of major committees in Congress, recognized as Outstanding Congressman by the media and  the Department of Education with zero (0) cases against him having never been tainted with the issue of corruption.

As early as during the Voter’s Registration campaign for the Overseas Filipino Workers in Hongkong last year which was attended by Senator Kiko Pangilinan, LP Senatoriables Campaign Manager, his wife Sharon had announced that, “ I will help Ruffy because of his performance and integrity.”

In her radio ad for Ruffy, Sharon expressed,  “Ako po si Sharon Cuneta, ngayong election hindi na tayo pwedeng magkamali, kaya ditto na tayo sa sigurado, si Ruffy Biazon may karanasan, may kakayahan at may paninindigan. Ang piliin natin RUFFY BIAZON SA SENADO, ang Big Bro ng Pamilyang Pilipino. RUFFY BIAZON PO # 7 SA BALOTA!”

Another bigwig in the movie industry, Armida Siguion-Reyna  has also written in her April 27, 2010  column at the Tribune about her supportfor Ruffy Biazon, “Ruffy Biazon is a hard-working congressman, at the same time "hindi mapapel", a quality so hard to find in young politicians these
days, so yes, I will help bring him to the Senate.”  It seems everyone “Big” in the movie  is for the “Big Bro ng Pamilyang Pilipino!”
